Photomontage
Reinterpretations of the Getty Museum through stereotomic projections and Gordon Matta Clark’s idea of the conical hinge. Methods of tumbling and stretching are explored to lead to a representation of the building, an artifact of its own.
hybrid object study
This series explores Robin Evans’ ideas of the projective cast and translations from drawing to building. Clustered figures and forms used in Richard Meier’s drawings of the Getty are reconstructed and projected onto a composite object.
